Information Technology Specialist

  • Manage RIPIN's website using HTML, CSS, PHP, and WordPress
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot computers, software, hardware, network, ip phones, iOS and Android devices, email, virus and malware and other technical issues reported by end users
  • Perform network maintenance and system upgrades
  • Configure and manage Cisco Unified Communication platform, Cisco switching, and UniFi Access Points
  • Set up and manage equipment, user credentials and permissions for new and existing employees for computers, databases, and Office 365
  • Ensure A/V equipment is operational in conference rooms, and at events (ex. RIPIN Annual Breakfast)
  • Monitor system performance and ensure system availability and reliability, and maintain systems to requirements
  • Ensure security, efficiency, and connectivity of IT infrastructure through access controls, and firewalls
  • Review existing systems and suggest improvements
  • Research and provide strategic advice on using technology to achieve goals
  • Maintain RIPIN's inventory of IT equipment
  • Create and maintain IT documentation (using MediaWiki) including guides, credentials, and vendor information
  • Support and collaborate with IT Coordinator with vendors for problem resolution, and tasks as needed
  • Train users in new and existing technologies
  • Follow and enforce IT and network policies and procedures
  • Work with Adobe CC to design booklets and brochures; edit/create photos and videos
  • Support RIPIN's social media agenda and implementation
  • Manage Google MyBusiness, Google Non-profit, Adwords, Analytics.
